COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION, 2016 SSC
Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016(Tier-I) on SUNDAY the 8th & 22nd May, 2016 and if necessary, on subsequent Saturdays/Sundays,in different batches, for selecting candidates for Tier-II examination for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. Subject to administrative / public exigencies, final selection through the Combined Graduate Level Examination to specific categories of posts would be subject to receipt of intimation of confirmed number of vacancies from the concerned Indenting Ministries/ Department/Office/Cadres before declaration of results.

(a)Pay Band –II Rs.9300-34800 (b) Pay Band –II Rs.9300-34800 (Gazetted)* (C) Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200
Group-B: A Central Civil post carrying the following grade pay:-Rs.5400, Rs.4800, Rs.4600 and Rs.4200 in the scale of pay of Rs 9300 – 34800 in the Pay Band-2
Group-C: A Central Civil post carrying the following grade pay:-Rs.2800, Rs.2400, Rs.2000, Rs.1900 and Rs.1800 in the scale of pay of Rs.5200-20200 in the Pay Band-1
Essential
Qualifications: Bachelor’s
Degree from a recognized University or Institute
Desirable
Qualifications for the Post of Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered
Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters
in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business
Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Qualifications
for the Post of Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized
University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or
Elective subject.
Age
Limit: 18-27 years some of the posts have different age limit view here
Scheme of the Examination for Combined Graduate Level Examination:
The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:
Tier-I --Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II - Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-III -
Fee: Rupees One Hundred only
(Rs. 100): Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste,
Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for
reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government
orders.
